About

[community profile] sv100 was a LiveJournal weekly community challenge inspired by the LJ communities batfic100 {now defunct} & twilight100, based on Smallville where you join a team (Aliens, Metahumans & Humans) and write as many 100 worded drabbles to earn points for your team.

I have three things to talk about, and thank you for spending the time to read this.

First of all, I just want to say I want to thank EVERYONE who participated in this round, as of right now we have over 130 entries for this challenge... and we still have until Saturday. I'm really happy, you have no idea.

Ok, below are the issues I want to bring to attention:

1. Entries that are related to each other you do not need to have the full title & info for every part - just have the name of each part in the lj-cut name or do what I did for my Wedding Challenge entries or my Memory entries. It apparently clutters people's flists (which i understand I guess, I don't use that page so I don't mind). You just need to have seperate titles if they ARE NOT related in anyway. And as of right now you don't have to put the Team you are on in the entry underneath the titles/characters/etc. Hopefully that will keep the flists less cluttered.

2.  I was brought to the attention that several members believe that its unfair for someone to post so many drabbles that are related (I'm not sure how many people believe this tho)... that it was just "breaking up a bigger story to fit into drabbles". Let me state that it is alright for everyone to post a series of drabbles that are related - its written in the rules that it is allowed. BUT they should at least show some time has moved from part to part, rather its lines missing or it clearly states time has passed. I myself had spawned 21 related drabbles for the Memory prompt, which ended up being Alternate Abyss - which I had not planned on writing so many drabbles related to one another, I just ended up not being able to stop expanding the series. I have not read ANY stories for this challenge yet - I just haven't had the time - so I am not sure if whatever drabbles someone was talking about show some time has moved or whatever. I personally don't see the problem as long as each drabble is 100 words each and have the prompt in it somehow & what I said before. I like it because "it makes things more competitive" as quoted by a friend. If you have issues about this, please tell me your concerns and I will consider them.

3. The tags have been all updated from below this entry. And if new tags are needed when you post more drabbles, just leave a note at the top so I can see it.

I think thats it... please either comment here or if you want to be private about it, message me, if you have ANY problems. I'm trying to make this a fun community that INSPIRES people to write for Smallville.
