When Clark had decided to live with Oliver he had never expected this, he had never expected the other man to take over his life completely. He had been in love, it had been hard, and it had made him miserable.
He had thought that was how love was supposed to be.
He didn’t know he could be in love and not hurt. The summer sun beat down on them, touching golden skin. Clark smiled and Oliver smiled back. Clark didn’t need to save him; he didn’t need to lie to him. Oliver was there and he wasn’t going anywhere.
