Summary: Lois tries to bake a pie.

Lois wrinkled her nose as she stared at her concoction. It should have been a cherry pie. But the reality was much more… foul. Brushing back her hair, Lois tried to ignore the fact she had probably just pushed more flour into her dark bangs and the echoing laughter that was surely to come when her cousin and friends saw her creation.
“Okay, let’s not admit defeat yet Lane, this is still salvageable.” Lois tried to look optimistic but as she lifted the pie, it slowly separated into two parts.
Next time, she’d just take Clark up on his offer.

“Okay, so what’s so special about this pie?” Oliver asked as turned away from his desk.
Lois nodded, “Well, this is a Martha Kent apple pie.”
“Which makes it…” Oliver gestured for Lois to continue.
“…Really, really good.” Lois smiled as she offered the plate and fork to Oliver.
Oliver looked sceptical but he smiled and took the offerings from Lois and took a bite. It was warm and soft, like it was almost melting in his mouth, the apples were juicy and sweet. Lois was right, it was really good.
“Okay, you win, Lois.”
Lois smiled, “I always do.”
