He found her on the porch, her eyes fixed on the sunset in the distance... A mixture of pink, red, and orange that seemed to hold her attention effortlessly. She didn't seem to notice his approach, but when he sat down next to her on the steps, she glanced over, gracing him with a smile before turning her attention back to the sunset.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Chloe asked, her voice a little breathless, and Oliver smiled slightly.
"Yes, it really is. Absolutely stunning."
Chloe didn't notice he was looking at her, and not at the sunset, when he said it.

She'd never really liked orange very much. She preferred red, or blue, or maybe even green. But somehow, along the way, orange managed to grow on her. She still didn't wear it (at least not often), but she didn't mind it when others did, and eventually, Chloe found herself *liking* the color orange. She would see a flash of it in the corner of her eye, and she would sit up straighter and smile, turning her head so AC could kiss her.
Deep down, she knew it wasn't the color that she liked. It was the man that wore it.

She peeled it carefully, getting every bit of skin off, then pulling the pieces apart. He watched as she bit into the first piece, making a little noise as she tasted the juice from the orange, her brow arching as she noticed him watching her. Smiling, she held out the other half of the piece, Chloe's eyes on his, and he saw her surprise when he reached out and took not the piece, but her wrist, drawing it closer and eating from her hand, his tongue sliding over her fingers. She blinked as she looked at him.
"Oh."
AC smiled.

He traced the strap of the burnt orange tank top she wore, following the curve of the neckline, watching the slight shiver she gave when he brushed against the uppermost curve of her breast. He leaned towards her, his lips brushing over hers, her small hands sliding over the material of his shirt, her arms wrapping around his neck as she leaned into the kiss, deepening it. AC let his tongue brush over her lips, and she opened her mouth for him, a little sigh coming from her.
He loved it when Chloe wore his color.
