Title: Ghosts of Holidays Past
Challenge: 32. Past Prompts - 23. Reunion
Characters/Pairings: Jonathon, Earl Jenkins, Lex, mentions Clark
Warnings: There are no living characters in this story.
Summary: Hell is other people.
Jonathon and Earl occupy their own little corner of Smallhell. Most of the newcomers don't really know who they are, other than the relationship between Jonathon and the still-living Clark.
He's been waiting years when a familiar bald-headed bastard finally makes his arrival. It's sooner than Jonathon expected, but Jonathon hasn't stopped holding out hope .
There's no such thing as 'pain' in the afterlife, but the solid connection of his fist to Lex's jaw is still satisfying in the extreme. Eventually, they'll shake hands and put the past behind them. Eternity is a long time to spend together without talking.

Title: Eyes Down
Challenge: 32. Past Prompts - 22. Summer
Characters/Pairings: Clark, Pete, Chloe, Gabe Sullivan
Warnings: Through Season 1, kind of.
Summary: There's a lot more to like about summer than just being out of school.
"Shelly Gray at ten o'clock," Pete whispers in an aside. Clark's eyes stare through the magazine in his hands and yeah, Shelly has definitely grown up over the past year. Up and out.
Clark looks beyond her and sees Chloe approaching. And apparently, Shelly isn't the only one who needed a new swimsuit this summer. A hand drops onto his shoulder. He freezes, envisioning his mother having heard them talk about girls, but then he realizes the hand is too large.
He looks up, and realizes there are worse things than being caught by your mother. Much worse. "Hi, Mr. Sullivan."

Title: Beyond the Here
Challenge: 32. Past Prompts - 26. Alternate Universes
Characters/Pairings: Clark, Pete, Chloe
Warnings: Through Season 1, nothing too specific.
Summary: A young Clark has thinky thoughts.
"Do you think there are really other realities out there?" Clark asked. Lying on the ground apparently made him introspective.
Chloe seemed to consider the question. "I think it's possible." Smallville had a way of making the impossible possible, the improbable the norm. "Like dimensions and planes of existence?"
"More like alternate universes," Pete chimed in. "Where Clark's the football captain and you're the belle of the ball."
Chloe elbowed her way into a sitting position, ignoring Pete's grunts of pain.
"What did I say?" Pete asked as she stood.
Clark ignored them both, his eyes on the sky overhead.

Challenge: 32. Past Prompts - 16. Dinosaur
Characters/Pairings: Pete, Clark

Summary: It's only supposed to be a joke.
Six year old Pete likes to dig in the dirt. His mother often jokes about him digging his way to China. Pete thinks it'd be pretty cool. There are dragons in China.
He can't dig that whole way by himself, of course, so he asks Clark for help.
It's a surprise to all of them when Clark and Pete reach the five foot mark and uncover what Pete thinks is a dragon's skeleton. His disappointment is fleeting when the archeologist show up. It may not be a dragon, but still. Dinosaur. It even looks like a dragon. Whatever a plesiosaur may be.

Title: Happily Ever After (or Something Like it)

Characters/Pairings: Pete/Chloe
Warnings: None.
Summary: He had to at least try.
"It's romantic," Pete said, spreading his arms to take in the pristine stillness of the lake, the starlit sky overhead.
Chloe gave a huff. "No. There's nothing romantic about Crater Lake." She looked at it, her expression turning sad. "There's really no place in Smallville that's romantic. Everything's affected by the Weirdness in this town."
Pete shifted closer, caught her eye. "I'm not."
"Yet," she said playfully. The hand she put on his chest was hesitant. "Do me a favor? If I kiss you, don't turn around and try to kill me?"
"I won't," he promised.
She did.
He didn't.

Yeah, I had some stuff go down a while back so I locked things up. I'll add you if you want; you seem cool :) But it's just me blathering about myself, my son, my job, etc. I'm fairly closeted fandom-wise; I lot of my actual friends read my LJ and would laugh their asses off at me :)

Should I have warned for het? Just because they're ogling the girls doesn't mean they're enjoying it in a het-ish fashion.
